At IIT Jodhpur, I am currently teaching the following courses: Educational Technology (PhD), Learning Sciences (PhD), Basics of Pedagogy at the Secondary Stage (ITEP), and Social Science Research Methods. In the past, I have taught the following courses: Evolution of Indian Education, Teacher & Society
Teaching has always been an energizing and stimulating experience for me. I view learning as an active, reflective, and collaborative process. I design learning spaces to facilitate students’ reflection, and their ability to express their thinking and reasoning, ask questions, and engage in meaningful discussions.
My philosophy of how learning happens significantly informs my approach to teaching. I believe that a single learning theory cannot comprehensively explain the dynamic and diverse nature of the learning process. Therefore, a variety of theoretical perspectives, including cognitivism, constructivism, and situated learning, inform my learning design and instructional practice.
In my role as an educator, I emphasize the following key principles:
Active Learning
Meaningful Technology Integration
